Michael Reynolds is a Canadian investment professional based in Zug, Switzerland, where he has lived and worked since 2008. He brings more than two decades of capital markets experience, having spent 20 years with Canaccord Genuity in institutional equity sales across Canada, the UK, and Switzerland, working with leading asset managers, family offices, and pension funds.

As a founding partner at Active Hedge, Michael helped raise approximately USD 800 million for a Canadian commodity hedge fund, with a strategy focused on energy, power, and mining and capital sourced primarily from institutional investors in Switzerland and the UK. He has built a reputation as an experienced Managing Partner with a strong history in capital raising and business development in the alternatives space.

In 2015, Michael founded Aries Alternative Advisors AG in Zug to provide clients with access to select, high-conviction opportunities in alternative investments. Aries focus on themes at the intersection of structural change and innovation, including energy transition, synthetic biology, artificial intelligence, and B2B SaaS solutions. Drawing on his background in venture capital, hedge funds, private equity, and institutional equity sales, Michael collaborates closely with founders and managers to position, and scales differentiated strategies for a global investor base.
